Our Doctors

R. Flynn Nance

DVM, MS

Dr. F. Nance graduated from the University of Georgia where he studied Biology as an undergraduate, earned a Master’s degree in Veterinary Parasitology, and completed his degree with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Nance and his wife, Dr. Susan Nance, founded Honey Creek Veterinary Hospital in May of 1987.        Dr. Flynn Nance is also the Past President for both the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Board and the State of Georgia Veterinary Board.

Susan Nance

DVM

Dr. S. Nance graduated from the University of Georgia where she earned her undergraduate degree in Zoology and completed her degree with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. S. Nance is our lead surgeon in the Hospital. 

Ashley Carter

DVM

Dr. Carter began working here in 2010. She graduated from the University of Georgia with and undergraduate degree in Biological Science and completed with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Leslie Lathem

DVM

Dr. Lathem began working here in 1995. She graduated from the University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and completed her degree with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She also works at East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic.
